Where he comes from it will be 20 degrees below zero, but the action at the U.S. Amateur is definitely heating up at the Las Vegas Cue Club! Traveling all the way from North Pole, AK, U.S.
Amateur Qualifier Robert Parzick left his local tournaments to spend some time with the APA and get a piece of the Amateur action. Parzick jokingly said the weather here in Las Vegas is "like summer
at home," but Parzick admits he loves the change. When asked about the APA tournament, Parzick said "Up in Alaska, we don't have the chance to play on an APA League since we're so far removed from
everyone. However, there is a lot of pool action that takes place in that state and could definitely support an APA League." He added, "I've played in the U.S. Amateur before
and the competition is very strong this year. I'm just happy the APA allows non-members to participate in this competitive format that provides amateurs a chance to gather from all over the U.S."
Parzick hopes that soon the APA can develop in his area, knowing so many poolplayers are supportive of the sport
and enjoy playing competitively. For more information on how to become a franchise owner call 1-800-3-RACK-EM.
