Robert Hart

Philadelphia, PA

League Operator: Bob Piazzi

To put it mildly, Robert Hall was in a pretty chipper mood Saturday night after taking down defending champion Henry Brodt. After talking to this self-confident fun-loving pool enthusiast, you'd think his confidence and raw abilities would allow him to win at anything he does.

"At this point in my life, it's about being as good as I can be," he said. "With this sport, you cannot just play it a little while and conquer it; you have to dedicate yourself to constant improvement."

After finishing up four years in the U.S. Army, Hart began shooting seriously about six years ago. He works as a barber in his own shop in Philadelphia, Pa., "Hair Forever." But if you stop by "Forty's" chair be careful not to laugh too hard, as he'll have you in stitches with his non-stop storytelling.

Hart's biggest personal achievement this weekend, even more important to him than the 5th Place finish, was making Mom proud..
